Partha Sen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Analytics visionary with a love of numbers
A passion for solving complex business problems using quantitative methods, data mining and pattern recognition began as a hobby before leading Partha Sen to found Fuzzy Logix and develop its flagship product, DB Lytix, in 2007.
Before founding Fuzzy Logix, Partha held senior management positions at Bank of America where his achievements included leading the initiative to build a quantitative model driven credit rating methodology for the entire commercial loan portfolio. In the portfolio strategies group, Partha led a team to devise various strategies for hedging the credit risk for the bank’s commercial loan portfolio and for minimizing the impact of mark-to-market volatility of the portfolio of hedging instruments (Credit Default Swaps, Credit Default Swaptions, and CDS Indexes).
Prior to working at Bank of America, Partha held managerial positions at Ernst and Young and Tata Consultancy Services. He has earned a Bachelor of Engineering, with a major in computer science and a minor in mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology. He also has an MBA from Wake Forest University.
Munir Bondre, Chief Technology Officer
Engineer at heart
Munir identifies and leads the technology directions for Fuzzy Logix. Munir’s mission is to enable Fuzzy Logix to make analytics pervasive by finding better ways of bringing valuable analytics to the masses.
He brings to the table experience in a broad range of technologies and domains.
Before joining Fuzzy Logix in 2009, he served in the capacity of Chief Architect and domain lead in the areas of 3D Persistence and Visualization, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Middleware. He has directed end to end software development lifecycle of complex mission-critical enterprise applications with international cross-functional teams for Dassault Systèmes, the market leader in PLM and CAD software products.
Munir has traveled extensively, lived and worked abroad. He has worked with partners and customers in US, Europe and the Far East to evangelize the company vision and offerings. He is a graduate in Business Administration and he holds degrees in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science.
Dr. Aashu Virmani, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer
The story teller
Aashu takes pride in being able to take complex subjects like Analytics and Big Data and breaking them down into understandable value proposition for customers and partners. His formal education as a Ph.D. in the area of Database Mining offers him the platform from which to analytically view trends such as Cloud, Big Data and Internet of Things and how they impact our customers. His passion for storytelling and his experience in corporate strategy, partnerships, and M&A offer him the tools and skillset needed to understand the landscape, and frame the product positioning at technology companies to drive valuation.
At Fuzzy Logix, he is responsible for sales enablement, for driving differentiation in the Fuzzy Logix proposition, and creating value by building and nurturing a partner ecosystem.
In his prior life, he was leading the product management and marketing for a $300m digital services business at Xura (formerly Comverse). While at Xura, he led a 6-year strategic R&D outsourcing project worth $240m with a strategic partner, and leveraging the savings to acquire a competitor for $425m. In his role before then, he led the marketing, business development and corporate strategy functions at Sonus networks, where he led the transformation of the company into a new product area and led the M&A of two publicly traded companies for Sonus and subsequent product integration for the acquired portfolio.
He lives with his wife and their 3 boys in Andover, MA. He loves travel and is passionate about golf and photography.
Joe Fan, Chief Financial Officer
Keeping the company in line
Joe is the rudder and backbone of Fuzzy Logix, providing balanced views and control dials to navigate the company. His focus is to provide order and vision in financial planning and resource management, along with oversight in legal and professional service needs.
In an earlier role with Fuzzy Logix, Joe's leadership in engineering lifted product development and enabled scalability. Joe's career started with eight years in investment banking at Bank of America focusing on quantitative analysis of credit and securitized products. Joe's formal education was in Industrial Engineering at University of California, Berkeley; he completed the Mining Massive Data Sets graduate certificate at Stanford University; and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Joe is also a member of the Executive EMBA Class of 2020 at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
His past life has taken him to Charlotte, Chicago, and New York. Until recently he was based in Charlotte and now calls Los Angeles home.
Himanshu Gupta, Chief of Staff and General Manager (India)
Our multi-purpose filler
As Chief of Staff, he dabbles in internal operations, communications, process, recruitment, supporting other functions and everything else. As General Manager (India), he is responsible for the Development Centre in Bangalore, as well as for Sales in India, and everything else.
He is a Mechanical Engineer followed by five years of working in mechanical maintenance in a Steel Plant and in an Oil & Gas installation. He did his MBA in Information Management and moved into IT.
After his MBA and before Fuzzy Logix, Himanshu worked with Atos, Capgemini, PwC and Mastek for multiple clients in China, Japan, US and Europe. He is a certified SAP Consultant and has been involved in system implementation for manufacturing verticals. He has also worked in Sales, Pre-Sales and Commercial Management roles for many years.
He finds Mumbai to be the best place to live. His wife, a nuclear scientist, and his two kids agree with him. Apart from work, he also finds happiness in Asimov and Wodehouse. He is fond of outdoors, has climbed above 6200m, trekked in desert, rode horses in Mongolia and is looking forward to his next trip to Ecuador & Galapagos.
Shantayne Augustine, Marketing Director
Believes great communication is key to good business
Shantayne looks after all things brand and digital at Fuzzy Logix: from our events presence and website to marketing collateral and social media. She brings a wealth of brand and digital marketing experience from her time at John Lewis Partnership (Digital Manager, Greenbee; Website Producer, Waitrose) and Loot.com (Head of Content), and was a pioneer in digital brands and marketing as Content Director at Wax New Media, one of the world’s first new media agencies.
A proficient project manager, she particularly enjoys working on product launches and events as the very methodical nature of these activities let her mix her creative flair with her love of list making.
Shantayne has travelled extensively throughout south-east Asia and China, including living and volunteer teaching in Cambodia for several months. She lives in the north-east of England with her crazy son and border terrier, where they enjoy big walks with a stop at the pub.
Kristin Bynoe, Marketing and CRM Manager
A stable bridge between sales and marketing
Kristin Bynoe has 12 years of experience in marketing with various industries including telecom, aerospace and big data analytics. Having always had a passion for writing, since she was a young kid she studied communications and journalism at Suffolk University in Boston. While attending college in Boston she had the amazing opportunity to work with the Boston Red Sox for a co-op which later turned into a full-time job. She joined Fuzzy Logix just over two years ago and helped to implement a new CRM system and bring some additional internal communications to the mix. A big focus in her role is to blur the line between marketing and sales and help bring them together as a cohesive team.
Utsav Datta, Alliances Manager International
Completing the puzzle
Utsav loves to put together different pieces of the puzzle to complete the big Analytics picture for the customer. At Fuzzy Logix, he is one-half of the Alliances team responsible for nurturing and driving business through the international (EMEA +APAC) partner ecosystem. He also regularly participates in the Strategy Workshops to chart out the future roadmap for the company.
Utsav earned a Bachelor of Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata; and an MBA, specializing in Marketing & Strategy, from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai and ESB Business School. Combining his techno-functional skill set, Utsav is passionate about creating value for the customers by showing them the “Art of the Possibility”.
He lives with his wife in Munich, Germany. He loves to travel and is passionate about cricket, economics, politics, single malts, beer and can die for some fresh sea food – typical Bengali!
Mathieu Goffart, Director of Sales EMEA
Our very own French connection
Mathieu started his sales career twenty years ago. After getting his master’s degree in Sales Strategies, he worked as sales representative for several companies. He also worked as an account manager for Hewlett Packard for 10 years, selling Big Data Products and Services.
Then, after several account management positions within service companies such as Axians and Computacenter, Mathieu joined Fuzzy Logix in 2016 to take care of our growth in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mathieu lives in Burgundy, the loveliest part of France reputed for its wines and cheeses. He is married with three children who he enjoys spending time with and, when the weather allows, likes to ride his motorcycle to visit the French countryside.
Kaushal Misra, Director Client Engagements
Listening to and taking care of our clients
Kaushal Misra has an engineering background from the prestigious IIT Roorkee, India followed by two post-graduation degrees in Industrial Engineering & MBA. His career of more than 25 years in IT spans over multiple continents, cultures and Industries such as Automotive, Pharma, Energy and Retail and a breadth of ERP and non-ERP Technologies. He has worked in top corporations across the world such as Asian Paints, Infosys Ltd, US Department of Defense, SCE, PSEG. Having spent decades managing large teams and interacting with a C-level audience he finds his passion in listening to the client first, challenging the status quo and, coming up with AI/Technology solutions that create new business opportunities for clients. At Fuzzy Logix his responsibilities include enhancing value and relationships with existing customers and creating awareness of our unique product with new clients.
Jim Stewart, Director of Global Alliances and Strategic Sales
Like a 50s film star, handling it all with charm and skill
Jim leads the Fuzzy Logix global alliances program, which includes onboarding partners, developing joint Go to Market offers, and introducing those offers into strategic accounts. He has been focused on analytics solutions for over ten years, first at McGraw-Hill Education where he led the team that created an assessment testing platform for schools for the State of NY, then at Teradata where he was part of the team that built the global partnership with SAS.
Prior to that, he led large software development and consulting teams at several companies, including Capgemini and AT&T. Jim has an MBA from Rutgers and is a certified Project Management Professional.
When not at work, you will most likely find him hiking or biking with his wife Karen. And for some competitive fun, he likes to run in local distance races.
Sonia Virmani, Director of Business Development
Perfectly placed to be the crucial first contact to perspective clients
Sonia Virmani, based out of Andover, MA, is the Director of Business Development and Inside Sales at Fuzzy Logix. Her responsibilities include developing marketing campaigns and collateral for client engagements and advancement. She has experience in the consumer and high tech industries at both Fortune 500 companies and startups, with proven, verifiable expertise in project delivery, and research analysis for clients. Sonia has an MBA from Babson College and BS in Computer Science & Math from Rutgers University. She enjoys the traveling, classical music, and everything outdoors: hiking, skiing, tennis, biking and yes even shoveling snow!
