Partha Sen

Partha Sen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Analytics visionary with a love of numbers

A passion for solving complex business problems using quantitative methods, data mining and pattern recognition began as a hobby before leading Partha Sen to found Fuzzy Logix and develop its flagship product, DB Lytix, in 2007.

Before founding Fuzzy Logix, Partha held senior management positions at Bank of America where his achievements included leading the initiative to build a quantitative model driven credit rating methodology for the entire commercial loan portfolio. In the portfolio strategies group, Partha led a team to devise various strategies for effectively hedging the credit risk for the bank’s commercial loan portfolio and for minimizing the impact of mark-to-market volatility of the portfolio of hedging instruments (Credit Default Swaps, Credit Default Swaptions, and CDS Indexes).

Prior to working at Bank of America, Partha held managerial positions at Ernst and Young and Tata Consultancy Services. He has a Bachelor of Engineering, with a major in computer science and a minor in mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology. He also has an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Munir Bondre, Chief Technology Officer

Engineer at heart

Munir identifies and leads the technology directions for Fuzzy Logix.  Munir’s mission is to enable Fuzzy Logix to make analytics pervasive by finding better ways of bringing valuable analytics to the masses.
He brings to the table experience in a broad range of technologies and domains.

Before joining Fuzzy Logix in 2009, he served in the capacity of Chief Architect and domain lead in the areas of 3D Persistence and Visualization, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Middleware.  He has directed end to end software development lifecycle of complex mission-critical enterprise applications with international cross-functional teams for Dassault Systèmes, the market leader in PLM and CAD software products.

Munir has traveled extensively, lived and worked abroad.  He has worked with partners and customers in US, Europe and the Far East evangelizing company vision and offerings.  He is a graduate in Business Administration and he holds degrees in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science.

Aashu Virmani, CMO

Dr. Aashu Virmani, Chief Marketing Officer

The story teller

Aashu takes pride in being able to take complex subjects like Analytics and Big Data, and breaking them down into understandable value proposition for customers and partners.   His formal education as a Ph.D. in the area of Database Mining offers him the platform from which to analytically view trends such as Cloud, Big Data and Internet of Things and how they impact our customers.  His passion for storytelling and his experience in corporate strategy, partnerships, and M&A offer him the tools and skillset needed to understand the landscape, and frame the product positioning at technology companies to drive valuation.

At Fuzzy Logix, he is responsible for sales enablement, for driving differentiation in the Fuzzy Logix proposition, and creating value by building and nurturing a partner ecosystem.

In his prior life, he was leading the product management and marketing for a $300m digital services business at Xura (formerly Comverse).   While at Xura, he led a 6-year strategic R&D outsourcing project worth $240m with a strategic partner, and leveraging the savings to acquire a competitor for $425m.  In his role before then, he led the marketing, business development and corporate strategy functions at Sonus networks, where he led the transformation of the company into a new product area and led the M&A of two publicly traded companies for Sonus and subsequent product integration for the acquired portfolio.

He lives with his wife and their 3 boys in Andover, MA.  He loves travel, and is passionate about golf and photography.

 

Mike Fionda

Mike Fionda, VP of Global Sales

The customer advocate

Michael is an established Sales Executive who comes to Fuzzy Logix with a passion for building high performing sales teams and helping customers achieve their objectives. Michael has over 20 years’ experience in the data management and big data analytic marketplace where he’s worked with Fortune 500 companies helping them execute their business strategies through the use of advanced analytics.

At Fuzzy Logix Michael has responsibility for overseeing the company’s sales force, achieving profitable growth objectives and maintaining overall commitment to client satisfaction.

Prior to joining Fuzzy Logix, Michael held numerous sales & sales management roles at Teradata Corporation where he’s won numerous awards for his work in sales excellence.

Michael holds a BA in Communication from Loyola University of Chicago and resides in Charlotte N.C.

Kiran Kumar

Kiran Kumar, VP of Analytic Solutions

Where business meets technology

Kiran Kumar is the VP of Analytic Solutions at Fuzzy Logix, where he is responsible for building products that are targeted to solving specific business problems. His role is to bridge the gap between business and technology, making it easy for end-users to deploy and use Fuzzy Logix's high-performance analytic solutions.

With more than 20 years' experience, Kiran has expertise in building global technology solutions in the finance and healthcare industries. Most recently, he oversaw the development of analytic solutions at the Bank of New York Mellon where he enabled business teams to gain actionable insights through big data analytics. Previously he led global initiatives in process automation and digital transformation in companies such as United Healthcare and JP Morgan Chase.

Kiran has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Denver, and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Joe Fan

Joe Fan, Chief Financial Officer

Keeping the company in line

Joe is the rudder and backbone of Fuzzy Logix, providing balanced views and control dials to navigate the company. His focus is to provide order and vision in financial planning and resource management, along with oversight in legal and professional service needs.

In an earlier role with Fuzzy Logix, Joe's leadership in engineering lifted product development and enabled scalability. Joe's career started with eight years in investment banking at Bank of America focusing on quantitative analysis of credit and securitized products. Joe's formal education was in Industrial Engineering at University of California, Berkeley; he completed the Mining Massive Data Sets graduate certificate at Stanford University; and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
